Please stop by our Greenhouse and Gift Shop to see what's new Monday through Saturday. We're open from 8am - 6pm to answer all of your gardening questions. 

Join us for a variety of classes & events at MD Nursery. These activities, demos and hands-on how-tos are designed to spark creativity in your garden and décor. All class details are in the sign up link.

  • Pruning 101 - August 29

    Description

    In this hands-on class, Beni Tupou, MD Arborist, will take the guesswork out of pruning, answering your most pressing questions such as when and why to prune trees and shrubs as well as demonstrating different pruning methods. Class is FREE but please register so we can plan for space and materials. Bring a notebook and your questions for our knowledgeable and enthusiastic Arborist!

    Bring a plant, take a plant! Share your indoor and outside plant babies with other plant parents. All sizes, species or cuttings welcome. Plants must be INSECT AND DISEASE FREE. Bring in a container that you are ok to part with.

    No registration is necessary. Swap is 'open house' style from 11am-2pm.

  • Dried Flower Wreaths - September 19

    Description

    Use dried flowers, leaves, and other foliage to create a wreath of your own design. Class is $45 and includes materials and use of tools to make the wreath. This class has limited spots and is 10am-11am.


  • Bulb Planting 101 - September 26

    Description

    Join us to learn how to plant fall bulbs for spring color including daffodils, tulips, crocus and more! Learn about proper planting times, techniques, and fertilizer to create a spring garden full of color. The class is free but please sign up so we know how many people to prepare for. Class is from 10am-11am.
